The Shocking Truth about Skepticism and How to Turn It in Your Favor

Are you a service provider who believes that most businesses today lack the ability, or care to provide exceptional service?

Do you feel like most businesses, not you of course, only care about their bottom line and you are nothing but another number?

I see this all the time in the coaching and marketing space.

Businesses craft these amazing headlines & captions that get us to click, buy, and engage with. But once you buy, you're tossed in the used pile never to be thought of again.

How many of you have bought expensive courses, programs, or services before only to never hear from that business again past the thank you for buying email or page?

Last year I paid $1200 for someone’s freelancer's course and they just now emailed their list the other day talking about ChatGPT after being a ghost in my inbox for over 6 months.

Year’s ago I paid $1500 for a real estate course. I joined their private community but they never commented, shared content, or said anything in the group at all really. Only the students talked. They’d ask questions but we all pretty much helped each other over the “leader” stepping in.

Here is the point of all of this. The reason that people are so skeptical today is that businesses are so focused on getting people into the funnel that they never care to keep building the relationship.

After buying something don’t you have questions? Concerns? Or thoughts that you want clarity around? But nobody is there to help you, so you cast it in the “doesn’t work pile” and move on to the next thing.

I am looking to change that here. Hence why I email daily for one. For two, once these paid course start I’ll be building out more and more aspects of the community to keep everyone engaged and have even more opportunities to grow their businesses TOGETHER.

I have lots of ideas. But I’ve been very slow to move on them. There is a saying that goes the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. And that’s all I am focused on at this point.

Anyway, I want you to remember the people who buy from you. Focus on building that relationship. Social media villains have you fooled thinking about metrics–likes, followers, and “reach.”

Here is a prompt for you to answer today:

How can I build a deeper relationship with my list that ascends them to the next level in my business?
